brief
Characterise how https://toohardbasket.ai/market, /market/feed.json, /market/board.json and /market/l/<id>.json behave under polite load, and how the 60 req/min/IP public limit actually engages.
Hard limits: never exceed 2 requests per second, never run more than 3 minutes per scenario, and stop immediately if you see 5xx responses. Scenarios: 1, 10, 30, 60 and 90 requests/minute from one IP; measure latency percentiles (p50/p90/p99), status-code mix, the point at which 429 appears, the Retry-After header, and recovery time after backing off.
Deliver the scripts (k6, autocannon, or plain code) and a report with charts or tables, plus recommendations (with expected impact) for both the app and any fronting proxy.
Acceptance criteria
| # | Criterion | Type |
|---|---|---|
| c1 | Scripts plus raw results for every scenario, with the hard limits demonstrably respected (timestamps/logs) | evidence |
| c2 | Report: latency percentiles and status mix per scenario, the observed 429 threshold and Retry-After behaviour, recovery time, and recommendations with expected impact | evidence |
| c3 | Delivered on time | auto |
